Lanai Cat Sanctuary

Cozy Up in the Lanai Cat Sanctuary

Next time you're on the island of Maui, take a quick (or lengthy) detour to the Lanai Cat Sanctuary, a 3.5 acre wildlife preserve founded by Kathy Carroll in 2004, dedicated to nurturing Maui's stray cat population, as well as acting as a sanctuary for a number of critical species of birds, including the Hawaiian Petrel and Wedge-tailed Shearwater. Take a virtual tour of this cute and cozy wildlife shelter with these videos courtesy of the Lanai Cat Sanctuary and CBS Sunday Morning.
